At TRM Woodcraft, every piece is handcrafted to order and built specifically for each client. Because of the custom nature of our work, we maintain a cancellation policy that reflects the time, materials, and design work involved in creating your furniture.

Design & Preparation Phase

After an order is placed, we begin the design and preparation process. This may include creating technical drawings, confirming dimensions, discussing finishes, and preparing any samples required for your approval. During this stage, time and resources are invested to ensure the final piece is built exactly to your specifications.

Approval Process

Before production begins, you will receive drawings and/or design details for review. This is the opportunity to confirm measurements, materials, and design elements. Any requested changes should be communicated during this stage.

Once the design is approved, the project moves into production and materials are ordered for your piece.

Cancellation Requests

Before Final Approval

If you need to cancel your order before final design approval, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review the request, but a portion of the deposit may be retained to cover design work and preparation already completed.

After Design Approval

Once the design has been approved and production has begun, the order cannot be canceled. Because each piece is custom built to the agreed specifications, cancellations or returns are not possible once materials are ordered and work has started.

Communication

Clear communication throughout the design and approval process is essential. We encourage clients to carefully review drawings, specifications, and finish selections before approving the final design.
